Once you have selected a multiplayer connection, you can either join or create a multiplayer game session. For an overview of multiplayer gaming strategies, see Introduction: Multiplayer Games.

Select a multiplayer connection.
Follow the instructions that appear on the screen for the connection type you are using.

If you are making a TCP/IP connection across a local area network, in most cases you can click OK instead of entering an IP address.
Type your call sign, and then click OK.
Select the game you want to join, and then click Join.
Select the faction you want to represent, fighting as The Resistance, Ghorkovs, Mykonians, or Taerkastens. Each faction has its own set of vehicles that have different attributes and weapons strength.

You cannot choose the same faction as another player.
When you are ready to begin the game, click I'm Ready! If you change your mind before the game starts, click the button again.

The game does not begin until all players are ready and the game host starts it.
